This is not only a plant material experiment, but also a reflection on the value of time, craft and resources.

The aim of the project is to explore the different possibilities within textile, made out of very available species like corn, leek, celery or snake plant among others. Collecting raw material from my surroundings and manipulating it with an extremely low-tech process, these plant textiles and fibers are developed involving my hands in the process from the beginning until the end.

One of the outcomes of this investigation is a plant-based collection of body brushes, using basketry to contain natural fibers that scrub and cleanse your skin. Most of the vegan brushes used in cosmetics that we find in the market are made out of synthetic bristles.
